Since being called to the bar, I’ve focused exclusively in criminal law. Before becoming a defense lawyer, he was an advisor to the Edmonton RCMP and also served as a Crown Prosecutor.

Today, that experience, combined with Dean’s passion for law and dedication to the successful defense of criminal charges has made him one of the most sought after defense lawyers in Calgary.

Dean has appeared in all levels of court in Alberta, including youth court and Queen’s Bench jury trials and he’s defended charges ranging from attempted murder, sexual assault, impaired driving and the importation of narcotics into Canada.

His success has led him to be a commentator in the media, most recently speaking about drunk driving which aired on Alberta Primetime, a daily show covering current events in the province.
