You have the right to remain silent, and you have the right to your counsel of choice. You should exercise both of those rights.

Choosing a defense lawyer is one of the most important decisions you’ll have to make in the process of fighting a criminal charge.

As your defense counsel, my role is to prove that you’re not guilty of the charges laid against you.

I’ve spent my entire career in criminal law, and I know the law from every angle. I’ve worked for the Edmonton police in the legal adviser’s office and as a crown prosecutor before becoming a defense lawyer.

I’ve appeared in all levels of court in Alberta, including youth court and Queen’s Bench jury trials and I’ve defended charges that include attempted murder, sexual assault, robbery, impaired driving and the importation of narcotics into Canada.
